Using Unique

I loaded with 6.7 gr. Unique and 50 with 16 gr. 2400. I will run these through the .44 Special sixgun and the Marlin 44 carbine and see how they do.

These were shot with Speer bullet from the 1990's in the .41 Magnum.

I was a lot younger in those days and could see a lot better than I do now.

Speer used to make a half-jacket 246 gr. HP in .44

I blasted a ton of them out with 2400 and 296. As a 17 yr. old I tested them on split seasoned red oak. Comparing to .38, .357, .45. Standing on ends I really enjoyed how the magnum SWCHP slapped them down with my Super Blackhawk.

This picture is from that summer. I had it all. A good job, girl, truck, motorcycles, guns, all my parents and grandparents. It was the last summer of all that.
