We do not have one though. I do use those "Buddy" propane heaters a bunch. It provides the same "back up to it" warm heat. I use them in the shop and bathroom on very cold mornings. I have the long hose and 20 lb. bottle kit too for the shop.
Every few years I have to take the jet orifice out and make certain the piezoelectric striker is lighting the pilot. You might need to tweak the igniter to strike on the edge of the gas tube, just right. I just tuned up one last night, strikes instantly. I have the "Big Buddy" models with dual ceramic plates and two one pound bottles. If I ever meet the inventor I'll hug his neck. Once after an ice storm we heated the entire house with it (1800 sq. ft.). We slept int eh living room but it was toasty in there, about 60 deg. in the back, in the teens outside! For $150 or so you can't go wrong. (I bought mine for about $90 ten years ago!)
