At Sinks Canyon SP south of Lander WYO the campground has a few yurts for rent. I do believe they are available year-round.

I know it is not everyone's cup of tea, but I could see myself in semi-retirement using this system.

in the White Mountains of NH. The Whites are humid as is much of the northeast.

I wanted to check it out for a potential full time shelter. The thing did have a plastic like odor from being closed up at the campground for some time and it took a full day to air out.

I have heard of mold issues from others who have yurts in the northeast.

The semi-arid climate of Wyoming would be perfect for such a shelter. I know it is unconventional but again you would not have any moisture issues.

The camera on the iPhone isn't the greatest.

I did hike up into the mountains where that contrail seems to hit the ground. Spotted mule deer and jack rabbits among the talus slopes.
