WB asked what I thought was my "Crowning Achievement

I had forgotten a crowning achievement. A few years back Kase, Colleen and I were all at the SHOT SHOW looking at all the new goodies coming soon. One of our distributors came up to us and said there was a fellow that wanted to meet me. He was in the booth of our distributor. We went over to the booth and an older gentleman was sitting in the booth. He stood up and shook my hand and introduced himself. He was Mikhail Kalashnikov, the man that developed the AK-47 and the newer AK-74. The man behind the largest selling military rifles in production, somewhere around 35 million of the AK-47 and not quite as many as the newer AK-74.
He said the young men in his main factory asked him to tell me that his men read every issue of the American gun magazines. We spent an hour or so talking to him and he told us about a couple of new guns coming out that he developed. All in all he was a decent old gentleman, whether or not he developed the gun used by the communist countries.
Colleen reminded me that we also met and spent some time with Uzi Galil, the gentleman that developed the Uzi and the Galil rifle. There were two gentleman there, Kalashnikov and the man that developed the Galil rifle and if my memory is in working order that was Uzi Galil. We didn't spend much time with him as he had several people in the industry that he needed to spend time with. But an evil Communist or not, it was enjoyable spending time with Mikhail Kalashnikov.
