Was the ruger bearcat ever converted to 250 GNR or was it a single six and larger conversion only?

I think I can remember a photo of one of Gary’s crew killing a big pig with a contender so chambered.

Several pigs have been taken with the 250 GNR

Blake Naugle took one with a converted Bearcat and Nate Henning took another piggie with his in a Contender. There were at least a couple more but I don't remember the names. We have chambered it in the Contender and in the Bearcat. The 60 grain bullet comes out at 2100 and the 75 grain at 1900 fps.
You have to experiment with different loads as some of them will back out and lock up the cylinder. Obviously no problem with the Contender.

I find 1680 is the best power in a small fram

Revolver like the Bearcat. 110/296 is best in contender/G2. I have a G2 with a 8
Barrel also, with a 2x6x scope that is so much fun. Stupid accurate! The Bearcat is handy but think a 250GNR in a single 6 with a 6” barrel would be about perfect

It’s time that you give the 10mm case the 25 cal treatment

That 60gr hornady 2510 softpoint would be interesting from a converted 10mm 1911, Glock 20, cmmg banshee, or the new 10mm 1894

Yep
