bit of a dark history. I wrote several stories on that particular topic.

One area that I often went to to escape, explore and hunt was the Loop Road south of Lander. When you drive down through Sinks Canyon State Park it turns into Loop Road.

It is the infamous area of the disappearance of Amy Wroe Bechtel. To this day her case is unsolved and many criminologists believe that Dale Wayne Eaton aka possible Great Basin Killer is responsible for her death.
