the next millennium. Today I made sure we would have some snow, because I put all our snow gear away. I put away all our snow shovels, everything we normally would need in 5 feet of snow. And put them in one of our out buildings where it is extremely hard to get to in the snow. Get ready.
Got a question for you guys that work around

wood and such. Back in the early fall I went out to my wood shop and got out all our snow gear. While I was in there I noticed some small circles cut into the wood. I made a note to mention that here in the hope that some of you might know what these critters are. Obviously I forgot to do so and today when I went back out to my shop to put away all our snow gear. There on the floor instead of a dozen little holes there were dozens of them. Perfectly round, probably one eighth in diameter.
I have heard of a wood borer but never encountered them before. Any of you familiar with these critters and how do I get rid of them?
On our place they come from someone shooting 22's into them.

The bore into the wood and lay eggs. That way you get more next year
We get them every year. I hurt them with a airsoft pistol. You can get traps to put out to keep the population down. The trap looks like a block of wood with the same hole that you see in the shop. They go in to investigate and don’t come back out.

“Hunt them” not hurt them. I shoot them on the wing when I am on my back deck watching the grill and barbecuing
We get wood borers in our wood pile every year

The borers are tiny, less the size of a BB.

So I need something that will wipe them out before they destroy the wood flooring of my shop.
I've seen those on our Pecan trees. Make hundreds of holes.
