Just grabbed a couple .22’s. Benj started by unlimbering a Remington model 33 single shot his grandpa gave him. They only made them from 1933-36, so honest 90 yr. old gun! I can’t see the sights on it but easily hit the gong center at 25 yds. Then he switched to a 1911 .22 marked “Colt” but made by Walther or UMAREX? It’s good practice for the 1911 except it’s so light. Not realistic in that respect. We’ve been shooting it suppressed, boy it was dirty after about 500 rounds past. Had a fail to feed or two. Cleaning should fix it, sometimes you have to.

I have such difficulty seeing sights now days. Cross eye dominance and can not see so good out of my good eye. But the fiber optic sights help greatly! The SP101 has been a good ranch sidearm, good firepower, reliable, I can see these sights. I popped a few rounds from my Kel-tec PM30. What a fireball! Anyone tried a red dot on one? They have pretty good triggers. I’ve admired these for a long time, shot several owned by Misfits at HHC. Got my own kit. This photo was taken at close to 7:30 pm! I can see these. Wish the face of the rear was black though, guess I could fix that if I wanted.

A good short shoot with my youngest boy.
