of ammo is gone crazy. Colleen called our distributors and half of them are already out. So Colleen ordered a couple thousand rounds of ammo today while she can still get it at a reasonable price. But she still paid quite a bit more. I guess people are thinking the Iranians are going to be attacking on foot. Apparently this started late last week and by about noon today most of our distributors were already out.

I hate to tell people to stock up now as this has to be a bunch of people freaking out over the slightest thing one can imagine. We have gone thru this before with shortages of everything including toilet tissue and even P-nut butter. But if you hear of extreme shortages of everything, you know what is going on.

Good idea to stock up

Seems like nearly everyone has no Aguila brand. Quite a few have no Federal. Remington seems plentiful.

get some extra 9mm and 10mm.

With all of the things going on, I do not see a huge sense of urgency about the situation. Then again, there are many who live in a bubble.

Last week when the US bombed Iranian targets I asked my students if you heard about what was going on with the US and the Middle East. What frightened me in a way was that no one heard about the military action.

They are on their cell phones all of the time but were not aware of a significant world event.

Maybe I need to get a year's supply of emergency food for the cabin?

What’s even more surprising is that most people in general

I'd say starting around 2010 or so there has been a trend in society, at least in the northeast. What we called common sense has changed.

Today many young people are ignorant of some basic truths. I heard on a talk show that Maine has the highest number of pagans in the US. In a way it does not surprise me. I have had a number of students who professed wiccan, pagan and Luciferian philosophies.

Along with the whole transgender ideology, things are a mess.
