I’ve met several young folks through the American Water Works Association. But they are too willing to give up rights for the shiny object. The young folks were bragging about getting a month or two off maternity leave for both mother and father (or whatever?!) free! I informed them there was no such thing as FREE anything. I learned that in 6th grade Economics. “No such thing as a free lunch”, boy is that true.
Their behavior during COVID and the latest “Hate Speech” determination is terribly off-putting. I hear they have some really big bears but since you can’t shoot them with a handgun that cancels out any remaining Canadian interest for me.
