I love high quality arms of any kind. I mean those that were constructed without compromise. No legal dept. or marketing team calling the shots, just perfection for the task at hand. Build it and they will come.
I have a fantastic, top level classic spring piston .177 Airgun I lucked into long ago. A FWB 124D. I rebuilt it a few years back. It’s not fast (700 fps) but it makes one ragged hole out to at least 50 yds! Literally 1/4” groups if you can hold it. Shooting spring piston airguns is a little strange.
I found, and I’m oogling it reeeealy bad, a FWB 300S match rifle, with a 3-9x Leupold scope mounted on it. For about what the scope costs! It’s even more accurate and has a trigger that sets to ounces or three. Boy it’s tempting.
