“Citizen Vigilante”, banned in Germany so Elon Musk released it on X worldwide for free. Well over 20 million views in just a few days. Described as Batman meets John Wick, with obvious “Death Wish” overtones. Highly political, highly action packed, shocking on several levels. Certainly entertaining. It’s making some waves. Anyone who watches it, even the trailer, is probably cataloged. You never really know.

I see there is quite a bit if reaction to this.

German laws forbid movies in theaters without a rating so the popularity of something "banned" has skyrocketed.

I will also state, Germany is planning to crack down on of all things: cross bows.

I am willing to be those in the German Government are fearful of people who have had enough, if you know what I mean.

I once sold a vintage Bear laminated recurve bow

to a fellow in German via Ebay! The goofy ba@#% at the UPS office gave me shipping flak so I mailed it USPS no problem. (BTW postage stamps are going up $4 a roll next week! 80-something cents each) I think it cost me about $30 shipping. The German fellow was very nice and I enjoyed communicating with him. He said firearms were restricted and kept at Govt. shooting ranges. Something like you went and signed them out to shoot there then put them back? After you were certified by going through permitting and shooting school. Anyway at that time bows were not restricted at that time and he really wanted some better defense than a club, something with some range. He was pretty truthful with me on that. A kevlar vest might not stop a good broadhead! They cut the layers with scissors you know.lol

Yeah. A while ago I sold my old

Jennings compound via Ebay to a man in France. He planned to hunt with it as France is one of the few European nations that allow hunting with archery.

I do recall a message from someone in the UK who was interested in it for self defense purposes.

As you see in the news, all hell is breaking loose in the UK as well as other parts of Europe. Only Hungary and Poland are free of this crap as they take a hard stand. A while ago, a Polish soldier was killed by a homemade spear while guarding the border. The Polish Duma then changed the law. Anyone crossing the border is to be shot on sight.

No more playing around. So the crime rate of Poland is a fraction of what it is in the rest of Europe.

The bow I learned on is an old Brown Bear laminated bow.

I taught how to shoot a bow at our Sarasota shop. Both Kase and Colleen were taught to shoot their bows. I still dig mine out from time to time. But I just don't get my jollies hunting with a bow like I do a handgun.
