Here's a carbon 10/22 I put together with a Leupold 2.5-10, Warne aluminum rings and a Banish 22 suppressor. Weighs 5 lb. 4 oz. I had some PMC Moderator subsonic 38 gr. but it didn't have enough recoil to reliably cycle the action, I got a lot of stovepipes. I picked up some CCI Suppressor 45 gr. and they run fine. The loudest noise is the action cycling. I won a Silencer Central raffle for the suppressor at the Sheep Show. Easy company to deal with re. paperwork. You all have a great weekend...

I have been wanting to put a suppressor on my CZ 455 along with a thermal scope for coyotes. The thermal scopes have come a long way, smaller and better and cheaper.

What are you looking at for thermals?

I don’t need any of the high dollar units to hunt at 50 yards. This unit has some good reviews. And it is mostly computerized camera. It can do some cool things like one shot zeroing. And remembering zeros from different guns, so you can swap it back and forth with out rezeroing!

When I moved to the Pine Tree State I made the decision to get a suppressor. I purchased a Sig Sauer CDX 22 suppressor. It is a ton of fun.

I like squirrel hunting with it,

A Black & Blue is really good, Blue Moon on the bottom, Guinness on top.

Really classy rig! I need to work on mine.

I have a silver 10/22 (nothing on its stainless), with heavy laminated factory stock. The barrel is a volquartsen carbon wrapped with match chamber. Which causes some angst. It has a massive muzzle brake (?!) that unscrews to allow a suppressor via adapter. All that is ok.

I hope to install a BX factory trigger upgrade and was going to try an Athlon 3x9, 40mm scope. I’ve had mounting issues with 10/22 for some reason. Setting eye relief with the available ring spacing. I like the very tall one piece (actually 3 pc) alloy mounts all around. I think that would set me up pretty well.

I hope to revisit Jim Taylor’s trick of re-applying some liquid Alox to cheap rounds to really up their accuracy performance. I’d like to tinker with a nose sizer like Paco used to sell. I think I have an old barrel end I can use to make a true .222” sizer. The heel bullets on .22 RF are really soft.

Anyone hear much on the .21 Sharps? Reminds me of the Winchester .22 Auto round for the 1903 semi-auto rifle. A short .22 WRF.
