Revolver lubrication?

Rainy day got me to thinking. If one were to get the desire to open up a revolver, why/what/where might you clean and lubricate the internals? I’m only asking hypothetically….I am not planning seriously to do so, but we always strip and clean our pistols. Why not our revolvers? Would you use a dry spray of some sort? Grease? Oil? Why or why not. I would think blow out with compressed air and then a shot of some sort of dry silicone spray. Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

I don't oil mine. Clean. A little dry lube on each end of the cylinder and on the cylinder pin is about all.

What dry lube are you using ?

and I know I had run out. There are a number of dry lubes on the market .. Amazon, Brownell's, Midway etc. all have them. It's gonna be a few more months till I get to where I can shoot again. I know I will have to order some. What I was using was from quite a few years back.
