Turkish 1911. Cheap! Good or not???

I figure they use a lot of cast or MIM parts, but everyone does. The technology has greatly improved. Turkey is not quite the 21st century Belgium but they are doing wonders. Just focusing on mostly working class, high volume, rigs. They contract to Weatherby, SKB, Charles Daily, Savage, Mossberg, others too. So there you go. I’d choose a Tisas brand for a little more with upscale features I’d want to add anyway.

It is an excellent copy of the Hipower. Well made, accurate, and I haven't had a single functioning problem. Trigger could be better, but it's still better than your average Hipower. They even eliminated the magazine disconnect, which is a big improvement.

About a year ago I bought a Tissas B9R it is basically a $500 Staccato clone. It took about 200 rounds to break it in. Once I got past the first 200 or so rounds it runs great and shoots well.
