Ear splitting blast and huge fireball. Ditto the .30 Carbine Blackhawk. I think AMT had some type of gripping ports to retard extraction. “Retarded blowback” action. Successful 10/22 .22 WMR, Kel-tec, HK and others use the basic concept today. It was pretty slick late last century. Mike Venturino liked this .30 AMT and wrote at least one fair article about them. They didn’t get much press beyond its trumped up introduction. Usually there is a reason.
