I forget the maker. He broke the ejector on it and I replaced it for him. Those bushingless guns are a little different but they work. I like that captive advanced recoil spring/rod. That helps a bunch. Looks like a pretty good deal if you don’t mind a little home shop tweaking.

Switching calibers on a 1911 can be a lot more involved than a few parts. The .35 cal. frame mounted ejector is different spec. compared to .45 cal. I’m not sure of the dynamics, it just is. Probably the smaller diameter cases need a different “kick” out of the port. I’ve had some whacky 1911 ejections. Bounce them off my forehead, landing in a shirt pocket. I think consistently in a same location pile, with undented cases, signifies a well tuned 1911 and load. To ask it that, with wild load variations, is a lot.
