For those who have been following my recovery
from the go-kart wreck ...
I met with the Neurosurgeon today ....
The C2 vertebrae is growing back together very well. The bottom of it is fused and the top part is coming together. The Doctor said she will set up a CT scan in a week and if it is still improving, she will have me come in to her Office. We will do neck X-rays with my head in different positions. If the C2 is stable, she will put me in a soft collar and set up rehab for the neck muscles. She was very positive about the direction things are going.

I will come out of this with some scars and a limp and maybe some fingers that don't work quite right ... but Hey .. if I was a car 80 years old I'd be a classic, even if I am bent up a little.
