Solo 300 which makes a straight pull upper. I believe this is the basis of the ultralight straight pull rifles that have been written up in a specialty magazine called AR-15 by the G&A publishers.
It is kind of a tempting. I have thought about making a 14 inch 350 Legend "pistol" with the Solo 300 upper and a carbon fiber barrel. Skeletonized grip. Skeletonized lower with a good match grade trigger. Carbon fiber fore end.
Just thinking out of the box.
