Does this help answer the question where the Colt Single Actions are made? At least in 2007?

Looks so! Even has one of those “scan” blocks.

If they were made, I’d think parts too, they’d have to have foreign proof house marks. Some others were undeniably copies of Astra. I wondered about the little .22 SA guns too. But I’ve never seen any odd mark on any of them.

I never had any doubt. Anything is possible, but

had most of the more recent guns been majorly outsourced, especially from Italy, word would have gotten out same as it did on the 2nd Gen C&B revolvers and it would have been all over Colt forums and single action and cowboy forums. The "4th Gen" guns kept the the 3rd Gen changes, where one of those, the beefing up of ratchet pads into something more Rugerish definitely added long term durability as not so easily peened down over years of real service.

And I THINK they went to cast backstrap and trigger guard late in 2nd Gen production, so that is no shocker on a "4th Gen".

Past needing smoothing and lightening, I think them mighty fine guns, 1st and 2nd largely interchangeable, and now 3rd and "4th" largely interchangeable, and more parts available today than for the last two than the first two. I look forward to hearing you well enough to shoot it, and equally look forward to range results when you do.

PS- I miss my Colts, but it got to where my middle finger knuckle was getting tagged painfully by them. Arthritis sensitivity and perhaps weaker grip due to same.

Thank You for the Well wishes!
