That’s pretty serious corporate leverage.

But they are literally the oldest gun company on the planet. Trace their heritage back to the 1500’s!

I am wondering what models may be

To me personally I can't think of a centerfire (other than

the 1911 copies) Ruger has produced that I thought very much about. Take your pick. I did have the P90 and some P94's but they were a bit odd and clunky, had some character. But the public nor police agencies liked them much. I'd much rather see them jettison that lot than the single actions or Redhawks. Shoot, produce a "Custom Shop" like Remington or Colt, TC to do limited runs.

What do I know about corporate marketing and profit boards?!

*As a small boy I fantasied about Ruger making a centerfire up-sized single stack version of their ".22 Auto". Boy that would really rival the Luger or Lahti for sure. But I can't imagine a locked breach system or how they could keep it smaller or still lively.

I thought a Ruger MK 4

centerfire in something like the 30 Federal would be an awesome small game and varmint round. But the term niche market applies.

I have noticed over the years that Ruger revolvers have some QC issues. Barrels aren't perfectly perpendicular to the frame is one.

Also today's shooter seems to be more enamored with autoloaders than revolvers. It is a shame.

Colleen used one in Africa. It’s my favorite. But many calibers are neat. Honestly a rimmed round is likely best for the action.

I had a light Sporter that was originally a .243 but re-rifled bore to .257 and chambered in .257 Weatherby Magnum. A friend talked me out of it about 30 yrs. ago. He still has it and needles me on occasion. But he’s older than me, it’s not over yet! lol
