Turns out my hand problems are from degenerative spine issues pinching nerves. The radiatipn that saved me from neck cancer had some unanticipated effects on bo es and arteries. November 30 go in for surgery to clean out or fuse C3-C6.

Hopefully hand comes back so I can reload and shoot well again. Bit scared. Anyone else have neck surgery like this?

Yes, I had about 10yrs ago, stemming from auto accident 35 yrs prior to that. C-3 to C-4, C-5 to C-6. Neck, shoulder, hand issues virtually all gone. 24hr hospital stay for me, about 3 months back to full use of everything. So far so good still.

For close to three years, I couldn't feel my hands or fingers. It got so bad, I couldn't shoot, because I couldn't tell how hard I was gripping a handgun.
I had ACDF surgery on C3-C5 in Nov 2020.
There was about three weeks of pain after the surgery, eight weeks were I couldn't be in a car and I wore a neck brace.
My hands and fingers are close to 95% back to normal.

I never regret doing the surgery.
