6" 500 Linebaugh. All high polished black chromex except the hammer, trigger and cylinder will be high polished stainless. Grips will be white Corian.

Mine also Huey!

Went with a 5-1/2" .455Gnr with an extra .45Colt cylinder, high polish with cylinder bands, my name and hoping to get #77 of the series. Asked for the nice walnut grips in a light color. Should be a beauty as I'm sure yours will be!

I was a big bore fan for a long time, still am...

But, more into small bores the last few years. So, I'm looking forward to resuscitating my early obsession.

Always wanted a Reeder 500 Linebaugh and will likely do a 445 SuperMag too.

Other than those, have several Trail Guns on the drawing board.

I'm a fan of your Trail Gun posts!

Entertaining my crazy ideas. I believe he thought I'd lost my mind when I first ask him to build the 40 S&W and 10mm. But, I can tell you I've never held two finer built revolvers.

We've been discussing a few more wild ideas. Just want everything safe and practical.

445 SM

I am having Gary build me a 445 SM revolver. It is going to be 8.5" and a 2X scope. Maybe I can take it to Africa in 2019, if we go. I have a 14" 445 SM contender that I love.

I have a DW 445SM... I love that cartridge

Still debating

I’m trying to figure out what caliber. I have no real purpose other than I will shoot it. Thinking maybe .475 or .500 Linebaugh. Haven’t ever shot either one so insights are welcome.

I think I've decided on 356 GNR

I don't have a 500LB or 510GNR and want one of those. But for practicality and what I would really use, would be the 356 GNR. I have some experience with the 357 max and it kills beyond what most people would think. The 356 should do just the same in a revolver. With a scope I imagine a great antelope/deer cartridge and with lighter bullets, good on vermin. I am thinking 7-8" barrel, black chromex, and virgin unicorn grips.

I use .357 Max. load data and get a bit better fps

I finangled a way to get the original cylinder re-chambered to .356 GNR and had an extra 9mm and .38/.357 cylinder done too. By re-boring the original cylinder you may be able get closer to another cylinder fitting.

Thought about getting an extra cylinder

but I have had them before. And I just never used them. I have several great 357s(Mod 66, GP100 match, Python), so I probably would never use it. I HAVE thought about getting a 45LC/45ACP setup and having another cylinder done is either 45 WM or 460 Rowland. But again, I would shoot the 45LC 95% of the time. I can reload it near as cheap as the 45 ACP.

Totaling all my extra cylinders cost I could have another

full custom. Or a slick used 2-stroke dirt bike.

Amede, that's going to be a very heavy gun...

Yea I know, but not really any more than an SRH

an carrying that doesn't bother me. I want a stable flat shooting set up. Those speed goats don't like to get to cozy. It may be a bit too weight forward but I can talk to Gary about that and get his thoughts.

I have the caliber and finish but still deciding on barrel

Length and serial number. Makes it a fun project using a custom frame that you get to pick out a catchy identifier.
I knew the caliber of my next custom project before I jumped on the Howdah.

Care to share?

You have this one, L to R, 356GNR, New Howdah bullet, 505 500gr, 445 supermag, 454 Casull.

I like full polish like you, just need to decide on barrel length for this one.
