Anyone use 356GNR with 125gr hunting?

I didn't know until about a year ago that the 356 GNR
was Lee Jurras' favorite revolver caliber too. He loved his 357 Auto Mag and used it all over the world. He said the 356 GNR would do anything his 357 Auto Mag would do. That was why he asked me to add the 356 GNR to the available Howdah single shot calibers.

I have seen some amazing things done with the 356 GNR. A doctor friend up in the central part of the country took a shot at whitetail doe in a special doe season with his 356 GNR custom revolver. He said there was a small herd of deer milling around at the edge of the riverbank. It was mid December and it was a doe only season. It was early in the morning beside the river with fog drifting in and out. He spotted a doe about 25 yards from his tree stand and visibility was really bad with the fog. He said he waited until he could see one of the does clear and took a shot on her. It was foggy and he took the shot when the fog cleared for a moment. He said he heard it hit and the body hit the ground. He said he heard some thrashing around but figured it was the rest of the herd scattering. When he walked over to her the bullet angling down from his tree stand hit her in the eye, coming out in the back of her head on the other side. It then hit another doe in the lower eye exiting in the rear of the jaw on the other side and then hit a third young doe fawn in the back of the head exiting at her nose. It was the 158 grain JSP and had taken 3 deer and then exited. This was several years ago and he said the limit was 4 does at that time in that special doe only season.

I know of several cow elk taken with it and I have taken a Nilgai at the HHC with mine. The 356 GNR works.
