NOTE: Starline Brass mistake,

I ordered a batch of 500 Special brass and just got around to start some load development. The website said "large pistol primer". 500 S&W is Large rifle. I noticed that the pistol primers seemed to seat deep in the special brass, checked the pockets against some 500 S&W and had an aha moment. I called Starline and talked to Hunter their technical support guy and found out that they made a mistake on that.
The 500 Special is a rifle primer pocket after all.

I just checked their website and the corrections have been made.
I think Huey and Denning have bought some, pass it along...
