buff w/41
Gary, Was taking with a friend about him going for a Cape buff with a 41, thinking it had never been done, when I come across your photo (pg.28) showing that you have already taken one with your 410 GNR... Told him "your too late..Gary Reeder`s already taken one with a 41".... My sincere congratulations you "old dog". James
I had thought of trying the 410 GNR or the 429 GNR
on a Cape on the March hunt but John sort of put a damper on that. he said the animals in this 120,000 acre concession were wild and had never seen people before so they tended to charge anything that moved. He suggested something a bit more powerful. So another of my handgun calibers will go with me to Africa (actually 3 of them) and not sure which will do the trick or even if I decide to shoot a buff.
