and got my guns registered. Then all the way to the other side of Phoenix (over half an hour from there at 80 MPH) to the Dr's appointment. A complete wasted day as far as work at the shop is concerned. And I HATE wasting time.

Customs did want the scopes and their serial numbers

looked at them. I read the serial numbers off the guns to them and they checked them against what I had written down and signed the paper. Your customs people are either stupid or just want to hassle you. The ammo and the scopes do not matter. I always carry at least one extra scope in my duffle and they have never asked about that either.

The man with the rubber glove was gentle this time.

I know, its stupid. But I just went along with it. I didn't want to test Oregons sixth grade level of education.
