Reeder Custom Guns - Had to go to the DMV and get Stephanie her learners permit

The wait was going to be 3.5 hours.
Decided to hit a couple of gun shops about a mile away.

In the second shop he had this scope on top of the counter so I figured what the hell, I'd ask him what he wanted for it.

The owner said it was a cheap scope so he'd take ten bucks for it.

I couldn't hardly get my wallet out fast enough.

Paid my ten and left.

I hope I didn't get ripped off... ;^)

It's a Japan made B&L 2-6×28 with a set of Ruger Redhawk rings.

I've got a stainless 7-1/2" Redhawk, but its not the hunter model.

Both rings are the same height.

He always helps those down on their luck and might otherwise go without. Maybe it'll influence someone else to do the same.

I ended up with 3 or 4 Browning invector chokes that belonged to my dad. He sold his shotgun and left the chokes at my house.

If uncle Gary is okay with it, we could start a pay it forward thread and do some giveaways.

I could start with the rings and chokes.
Gary, if you're okay with it could you pin a thread to the top to allow it to be found easily?

We've seen it with brass and such. Gary and Colleen deal with the folks face to face and get a feel for who needs a hand.

to help some folks out and one guy started grabbing all of it up. We heard later he was selling it on e-bay. Like Huey said, many people in general are greedy and could care less if someone else actually needs that item.

B&L scopes are excellent scopes. The rings are worth $40

A solid $350+ ppackage....

Now to figure out what to do with the rings

Occasionally I'll box up a my extra parts for Gary...
