He had lots of problems with bad hip, bad knees and lung problems and was taking heavy duty prescription drugs for the pain.

Quite taking them when they don’t need them any more. If their bodies have become addicted to them then work with the doctor to get off them. I know its become popular to blame someone else for your problems, but it’s your body and it’s your life, take care of it.

put in and the doc gave me Oxycodone. I took them for maybe 2 days and I was seeing monsters crawling thru the door and all kinds of weird shit. I got off them real quick.

To live like that. I've heard its because they're poor and have nothing to live for. Or, they're so rich and famous they can't deal with it.

And she had severe osteoporosis. Her skeletal system was basically crumbling.Every day was more painful than the day before, especially after she had back surgery and they fused 3 of her vertebra together and the doc almost changed his mind in the middle of her procedure because her bones were so brittle they wouldn't take a screw.
Her internal organs were fine and so was her brain.
She made the decision that it was time to die, because life was becoming torture.
She took too many pain pills.
The obits read that she died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness.
After the experience of caring for her in her final days, I have been reading between the lines when I read someon's obituary.

been prescribed to me they haven't done much for me. I would hope at this point more doctors are using opiods as a last resort.

I have had more surgeries than I would think possible & I never became dependent. I think some of the problem is genetic and some people refusing to take responsibility for themselves.
