Same reason you never see them in 500 Linebaugh. The rim is too big for the 83s design to handle.

Could go with a 500 Wyoming Express cylinder from FA

But, that's a different revolver entirely.

The chamber center of the FA83 is closer to the rotating axis of the cylinder. The rim cut on that cylinder cuts too much into the gear for the revolver to function.

Rechambering a BFR or customs on large frame Rugers or Gary's large actions should be no problem.
