Remington rolling block, model 1865(?). That is what the patent date says. This is the nicest rolling block I have ever had go thru the shop. It is chambered in 45-90. It has a brand new Badger barrel, 32"octagonal. The frame has been color cased. It has a $175 ladder type rear sight and the globe front with bubble type cant leveler. The wood is new. He bought the gun in 2014 and never shot it. It has 250 rounds of new Starline 45-90 brass, new Lyman dies, the long powder drop powder dispenser, loading block, 3 boxes of factory loaded ammo and maybe one or two other things I can't think of now. The old fellow paid $2300 just for the gun in 2014. He wanted to get into long range black powder cartridge competition but just never got into it and never shot the gun. With all the accessories he bought after he bought the gun the value would be somewhere in the $3000 range. It is sale priced at $1995 plus shipping. He had a light coating of oil on the gun so any smears you see are just the oil. The gun is in 95% or better condition. The stock has a few very small dings from where he took it in and out of his safe to show his friends.
