Remember my friend Carolyn who had the children in the Sudan

They are all now in Uganda and doing well. Some of you helped get those kids to safety. Well today I received an email from her. Here is part of it ...........

Yesterday, after 14 months of being hidden in South Sudan, our land cruiser came out with an armed army escort and crossed the border into Uganda and it our hands! HALELUJAH!!!!!! It was in perfect condition, no bullet holes, nothing torn or dented, running smooth as a new car. It is only two years old and still in supreme condition. So many land cruisers were stolen, countless, and sold or used in the armies for war. Ours remained hidden. God has protected everything. The soldiers are still living on our compound and now I am actually very glad of this because they keep looters away.

No one dares to come close and so all our buildings and fencing has remained intact. We were even able to hire some guys to cut all the tall grass that grew over the year and the soldiers have asked us to fix the borehole as rusty water is coming out. How do you love your enemy whom God had caused you to love? You fix the borehole for them even as they live on your compound still and bless them. God shows us that these acts of kindness and mercy will be what draws men to the love of God. I could say, “Are you kidding? For real?” Nope, We will fix the borehole and bless them with clean water, even as we don’t even have our own borehole here. This is how the kingdom of love works...................

She is going to be in Texas next month and I am going to try and have her come and speak to group of friends. She will be traveling some and if I get her itinerary I will post it in case she may be coming near some of you and you might like to meet her.
