for carrying gear on a plane, we have some neat stuff Colleen picked up at the Mini SHOT show last week. They are super strong, just as strong as the Pelican but 1/3 the price. She got a great deal on 10 of them. I am keeping 2 of them, and Huey picked up one of them. The case is just like the Pelican with the handle to pull it and the good wheels. I can easily get 4 or 5 handguns in there and it comes with 4 layers counting the top layer, one being the pluck foam where you can pull squares out and make it fit your guns perfectly. I also bought one for my clothes. I took the 3 layers of foam out and I can get all my clothes for Africa, my boots and everything I normally carry over there in the medium size roll around hard case. It has steel reinforced locking points too. So it is the perfect case for Africa. Whether you are going to Africa or not, if you need a great hard case this one is as good as any of my Pelicans.
The inside dimensions are 21" long, 16" wide, and 7½" deep. So they hold all my gear including my ammo and the other case holds all 3 of my guns easily with room to spare. Plus the have the wheels and the handle that retracts easily.
