Reeder Custom Guns - finally back from hell (Phoenix). Here are the pics of

the Howdah in 321 GNR. I took the pics and then noticed greasy fingerprints that I didn't get all off for the pictures. I went next door to the gun shop to get the gun again but Noodle had already boxed it up. So here they and ignore the oily fingerprints.

Thanks Huey, but the credit goes to Gary and his crew. The gun is awesome, it arrived today. I know from this forum that you are a .32 fan (and take some heat for it, all good fun) and after shooting a factory 327, I think I have become a fan myself. Sure you will love it. Ran .308 and .311-.313 bullets through mine. Until weather warms and time permits to shoot over chrony and do more testing loaded some 100 grain XTP and 100 grain flat point cast to play with. Using 1680 from starting load that was given and Titegroup as a plinking load. Played with Titegroup and it prints very close to 1680. When you push the 321 it smokes the 327. Loud but easy on hands and wrist.

What are the grips and the barrel length?

the grips are some of the Ukrainian wood. I wanted a set of grips that would go well with the gold accents in the gun and Nate came up with the grips that are on the gun.

What is the 321 case made from? is it designed for 100 gr lead loads or heavier like 120s or 125s

them. It is the 357 Magnum necked down to 32. You can shoot any bullet in it up to 150 to 160, but the lighter weight bullets like 120 or 125 work best. It will be fine for whitetail deer and Black bear under 400 lbs.

Jurras and a lot of conversations around the Super Vel ammo, I roughed out the idea of the new 321 GNR, which was the 357 Magnum case necked to 32 caliber. Lee said the old Super Vel 357 Magnum 110 grain ammo in a test handgun barrel came close to 1800 fps. This was what I had in mind for the new 321 GNR, light to medium weight bullet at hyper speeds, speeds that would turn a coyote inside out. Hopefully the 321 will fit that bill.

Lee gave me some other ideas that I am still digesting and running thru my noggin, but we will talk about them later.

but it would be interesting to look into a "snub" 2-3" .327 that could be reamed out to .321. Sometimes using a case full of slow powder does overcome apparent inefficiencies. The .32-20 was used for decades as a guard duty gun. I know Wells-Fargo had a ton of S&W and Colt DA so chambered. That would be an interesting one with 100 gr. class slugs. The SP 101 should do.
