Well plan B on my little 38-40 250 gr. kit. My light weight custom on the OM Ruger and .357 cyl. (now a .38 WCF) is a little short for long seat 250 gr. But the Herters has plenty of room to spare.

When feasible seat long for a notable increase in capacity and lower pressure. This Herters is a good example where performance could easily be increased by seating technique.
