and interesting to admire. I don't feel I'm a "racist", whatever that is, seems it can be a label on anyone or anything. A sword frequently wielded by Liberals or Radical Black folks. Have you noticed, or is it just me, that probably 75% of the new commercials sport "mixed" couples? Not Asian and Mexican, or any other combination, but "white" Anglo and Black "African". That is interesting, and seems to me slid in on the viewing public all of a sudden.

If you are of a mixed black and white relationship I mean no ill. I'm Cherokee and Irish myself, it's just more difficult to note that. The bible warns of the difficulties of being "unevenly yoked" and that can describe many things in a relationship. Lord knows it's difficult enough in this world to maintain a family as it is. Seems the darker toned ladies as a whole are not treated as "nice" by their like fellows and really appreciate a guy showing courtesy and manners.

I'm just wondering if I missed something in social awareness. I understand how the diversity movement has influenced things. Is this a topic of focus? I do know there is an attack on the family unit as a whole, not necessarily by the "Diversity" movement, of which I know little about.

Is that your current family? Any kids? We never get to those topics much at HHC. I'm a little embarrassed I don't know much personally about many HHC buds other than their firearm preference.

I know several guys on the forum have kids and grand kids in mixed relationships. I knew better than to mash toes. Would never, ever, hurt anyone on purpose. I didn't think of accidentally baiting out someone else to put a foot in their mouth. I don't see that anyone did. Some good men.

I do it easily enough myself innocently!

MARRIED TO A FELLOW WHO IS HALF BLACK. HE IS A GREAT GUY AND I LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS MY OWN GRANDSONS. IN FACT I DO NOT DISTINGUISH BETWEEN GRANDKIDS AND IN-LAWS. I STARTED WITH 8 GRANDKIDS AND CONSIDER THAT I NOW HAVE 14 SINCE 6 ARE MARRIED.

when mixed race couples first started appearing in commercials a few years ago, it was exclusively black male - white female. The majority now are white male - black female.

I too noticed the commercials andput it up to mainstream liberals in advertising. However, living neat Montgomery Al i've noticed a steady increase in mixed couples over the years with the majority being black males with white females. This week we went to the casino in Atmore and I saw three couples who were white males with black females. Mo judgement just observation.

The unevenly yoked is describing faith specifically, and makes a sound point one would do well to heed and avoid in a serious relationship. The "yoke" term is used in many verses to great effect and meaning. I've never run a "team" of animals but I understand the concept.

That has been going on for years. My grandpa used to get so aggravated at that. He would say "Look at that! They're always trying to cram a ni***r down your throat!"

My wife spent much of her early years in a refugee camp on the boarder of Cambodia and Thailand. She tells me that most of the Cambodian men DO NOT like her being married to a white guy. I've never noticed it but she also tells me that "American" women (white), often treat her much differently than she sees them treating others. She became an American in 2007.

When in tv shows or commercials or whatever they always have to include their token non white people so they can be “diverse”. Even if it has absolutely no resemblance of the statistical poplulations of race.

I’m sure the mixed couple thing is more common than it was in the past, but statistically how often does it actually happen compared to how often the Hollywood types want to show it happens???

I have absolutely no care at all what color someone’s skin is, it means nothing to me. Only their character matters to me. If a black person is a great person I will enjoy their company, if a white person is a crappy person I won’t enjoy their company simple as that.

The leftists are the true racists. They project that onto everyone else because they think everyone must think like them.
