Small Glock issue...maybe, maybe not

Probably like that guy who went to the Doctor and told him "Doc it hurts when I do this" so the Doctor told him "Well then, don't DO that!".

When no magazine is in the gun or spring tension from such applied to the slide, and I point the gun upward past say 75 deg. or so, and press the trigger, something happens. As the internal striker is pulled to it's fully rearward place the slide moves backward maybe 1/10". It goes ahead and snaps, but I note the slide and barrel move together.

It does not happen with a loaded magazine under spring tension on the slide. I have modified the disconnector with an aftermarket part and the 6" barrel is aftermarket too with a muzzle brake. The slide spring is 24 lbs., stiffer than stock 18 lbs.

It's only when unloaded as far as I can tell and only when I point it up. Obviously weight and gravity have a play in it. I have not checked with other barrels, the stock G30s and G19 don't do that. But then they don't have that heavy slide and goober barrel either.
