Using a 125 gr. JHP and 20 gr. WC820 it makes a pretty large flame ... recoil would be considered heavy by those who have never fired big bore revolvers. The recoil is very fast. Of course it is a little lightweight handgun.

very pretty wood stocks. BAD move for shooting. Brutal, just hand numbing with .38 Specials! Like Woody's Killer CZ rifle, no, no thank you, I don't need any of that.

I got home, took off the rubber "boot grip" and replaced them with a set of smooth, ivory polymer, magna grips.
(They don't stick to my shirt or jacket, and their small profile makes the gun easier to conceal.)

I carry Federal Hydra-Shok 129gr 38 Special +P; with two reloads in Bianchi speed strips.

But boy does it sting with my wood grips! They slide in and out of the pocket/holster and do not hang or grip on clothing. I could not see the sights so I added a fiber green front, helped a bunch. I wanted sort of a .38 version of the .22 WMR S&W makes. Now I sort of wish I had the .22 version but the are marked up so much more, hundreds more than the 360 .38!

Grips are Altamont and fit pretty well for off the shelf. Perfect for a .22!

I actually prefer the old M60 and we have one. But the 360 is a delight to carry and I feel very comfortable with it despite the 5-shot capacity. I do carry an extra HKS loader in a pocket too. Goes great with dress pants of Dockers and my Mika pocket holster.

The Hi-Viz sight helps but was not for the faint of heart to drill this tiny hole to mimic the factory blade install. Gary might be helpful here!

I have been considering replacing the front sight for some time.
Combine that black blade with the silver notch rear and put them in a dark alley, acquiring the front sight does get a little tough. Fortunately the J-frame is a natural pointer for me.

the picture I showed with the little hole was the factory sight. The Hi-Viz ended up having about half as much meat where the hole is thinnest. It almost worried me but it's thick compared to the hole diameter. I installed the sight, piloted the hole from each side, then drilled through each side to finally brake through. Then I was able to whack the factory roll pin back though. I used a vice and the bit was teeny-tiny! Would be easy to mar up the factory hole.

In any type of light source the front just glows, put that dot on it leveled out and squeeze!

I use the Federal 110 grain Low Recoil. At the range in the church I worry about over penetration and shot alignment with all the people in the pews standing up and trying to get away from a shooter while I am trying to get a shot at them. I have gone to the church when during the week and tried to cover the door and other entrances as well as someone suddenly standing up on either side of the pews and behind and in front of me as well as a completely lateral from my position shot. It is much harder to do than what even experienced handgunners would think. I pray that situation never comes up but I just don't want to carry a larger weapon in church. I have practiced at the range with the S&W 642 and it is a hand full in both light loads and full house 158 grain .38 specials. I rarely shoot more than 15 rounds as it just hurts my hands and wrists too much.

.. with the 3 inch barrel. I bought it strictly for a camping/hiking gun to shoot rat shot and 38 spc when fishing or woods walking etc.. My dad saw the gun and liked it so I gave it to him. He lives on a lake. Its a perfect walking pistol. I bet he's killed a hundred snakes and turtles and 'possums and whatnot down by the water.

My dad saw my S&W M63 Kit gun 4" and fell in love, had to have it. It's a cherished keepsake now. It has never shot all that great for me compared to others but it's so neat and I've trained lots of folks to start out with it. I added a Tyler grip adapter to the skinny stocks (I gave maybe $3 for it) and Gary gave me a trigger shoe I gleefully put on it. Actually I tried it on all my rigs and that's what it fit. Puts air in the jaws of some of my shooting buddies but I get a chuckle from that.
