screwed up than all the other scope brands put together. At least a dozen in the last 3 or 4 months. Personally I wouldn't touch them and we will not carry them in our shop. Every gun writer that writes up about them says they have a great warranty plan. Well, how do they know that unless there have been a bunch come back in.

Thank you. Appreciate it.

At this point, I have not experienced any problems, I say yet because it is my first dealing with them. I will say I have been shooting a world class Tasco for 20 yrs now on my varmint gun, just as clear and much less (about 25-30%} also picked up a new Bushnell firefly great scope with low lite cross hairs, also as clear and less money. There are a lot of guys shooting the vortex scopes here, but my experience in using mine is kinda limited as its only one of 5 rifles I'm shooting. The other 3 are on friends guns and so its a bit early to have problems show up from shooting. PS all these scopes are on varmint class rifles not hunting rifles

Ditto. I have 8 or 9 of them on light rifles...

No problems so far. I'm using the lower cost ones and the picture is great with my eyes.

I'll report any problems here. But, so far no complaints.

as far as I know all the bad ones were on AR-15s, as least

the couple that I personally took off the guns were. The others I have no idea as the customer brought just the scope in. And I will have to admit I do not know the price range on them. After the first few people came in with bad ones they bought at another shop, we dropped them. I don't need the headache.

that World Class Tasco is a much better scope than Vortex

in my opinion. Kase and I have used and abused several World Class Tasco scopes thru the years and never had one fail and I had one on a 450 GNR in a Contender. Mega recoil and no problems. The Firefly I am not familiar with so no comment on it.

I've used them on my varmint rifles for years..

I love the old 2.5-10x. They have out performed many high dollar scope.

Have quite a few old 3x and 7x World Class 30mm pistol scopes that are great.

they also hd a great 6X pistol scope that was really good.

I was going to buy a Vortex scope for my 22-250 Remington. But now I will give the Tasco a shot , the one we talked about a few days ago. Pete
