I think it weighs about the same as a M94 Winchester. I've had Desert Eagle's before, not a .50 though. The trigger design is the darnedest thing I've ever seen, sear engagement etc.

I'm glad you enjoy yours, showy well made, piece for sure. It should hold value well.

I've had an AMP.44, Grizzly Win. Mag .45, Desert Eagle .357, various .45, 10mm, and a .460/.45 Super. The Automag felt horrible in the hand but shot literally like a target rifle. The Grizzly was big, heavy, soft shooting. Mu Eagle was too small caliber to take very serious but worked. The 10mm is a lightweight in my book until you handload a good 200-230 gr. bullet. The .45 Super is pretty close to the .45 Win. mag but at max for such a handy portable package.

I'm still looking for a viable primary hunting auto. So far my rigs will certainly do for 50 yd. work and are comforting for back up. I just couldn't afford to keep that AMP, but it was a dandy. With just a few mods it would be the stuff, it had just enough power without being wasteful and in a portable, accurate, package. The Grizzly is really close but if you can drop power just slightly a good well set up .45 S./460 is handier. Ditto for a special set up 10mm for me.
