I’ve been buying my Ammo from Grizzly ammo, but can’t get them to return my calls or answer emails. Anyone here know if their still in business. And where else can I buy 500 linebaugh ammo.
it is an easy cartridge to load

And all of it is not cheap. I cannot imagine having to "buy" that ammo loaded. Casting your own bullets and buying (50)-(100) brass at a minimum to begin sure makes shooting more dollar friendly, and you never run out. Some more common calibers are actually not currently cost efficient to reload so I just hoard the brass while it's good times. But big bore specialty rounds are a price point I can really come out well rolling my own. I even shoot into a backstop where I dig out the lead bullets and cast them again, over and over.
But many shooters buy a couple boxes of (20) and it lasts them a season or two. Not a thing wrong with that either, your time is worth a whole bunch when you consider it. The equipment I use to do all that work too is probably staggering in cost, not factoring that it was accumulated over decades of varied projects. Now though I enjoy that more than the actual shooting. Something to think about.

I figure its about .75 cents a round loading my own! Buffalo Bore at one time was 150.00 for a box of 50 count
A labor of love...

You can fool yourself with lead over $1 per lb, figure $40 hr. for your time. Brass with new ammo can be $1 per case. You do save money, some, but shooting 50 rounds is just getting started. Nothing to shoot 200+ rounds in an easy session. However NOT that many .500LB!! Got to limit the rough suff. I start big and work down.
I'm also blessed to be able to shoot in the yard.
