It arrived late this evening. I had some rounds loaded and waiting. The 25-20 isn't a high pressure round, but has (in the past) caused headaches in revolvers.

Gary and his crew seem to have solved this by doing everything right.

Throats are a sticky subject with Gary, but I'm a stickler for perfection. These are all six .2575" or as close as I can measure.

I loaded 85 grn .258" hard cast and Hornady 60 grn .257" FP. I loaded both to max loads of 28,000 psi with 4227.

Not a hint of setback was encountered with with load. I even put a little Imperial Sizing Wax on a cylinder full and no problems were encountered.

This gun is a work of art in both looks and performance.

Cool!

So, the superb craftsmanship is very appreciated.

It'll see mainly 85 grn cast bullets. I'll order a .257" Lee Sizer just for this gun.

I'm not interested in hot rodding the gun, but certainly nice to know it can be if needed.

nice
