Reeder Custom Guns - I have a large frame Vaquero that I'd like to try

a stock Ruger transfer bar. I have found some under $10 but they are listed as for the Regular frame Black Hawk. I would think they are the same but wanted to ask your opinion.

I love the looks of an hour glass #5 type cylinder pin. But in function they are the devil. I get the flat that goes against the barrel out of alignment and struggle. It's probably not enough to spend the $30 or so to swap but I find for my favorite I like that large knurled option with the springy front button and ball.

I didn't do it, but the transfer bar has a U-notch in the top that is the same size as the firing pin. If the cylinder pin is not 100% pushing out on the transfer bar it can hang a little bit rising up over the firing pin, feels notchy. Not all the time.

I found some stock parts and wanted to put it back original. It sounds like these BH parts are the correct spec. I suspect the smaller frame late model FT stuff is a bit different.

cut out transfer bar. I don't know if some company is selling them that way or maybe Ruger put some out as an improved transfer bar.
