re-post of a sale gun
Time for a very special gun. Many years ago in the mid 80s when I opened my first full time gun shop, I made a rule that if I needed to buy anything big I would not pay for it out of the store's account. That rule still holds true today. If I decide to buy something like my Bronco or take an expensive trip to Africa, I pay for it myself, the shop doesn't. So having said that, I have 2 more guns out of the Reeder vault. Both of these guns are the prototype of the series.
This is the very first Ultimate 10, that Kase built about 10 years ago. It has been in several gun magazines and been used in ads in most big gun magazines. It is a long slide 10mm and every part on it is custom. When Kase built this gun he was written up in several gun magazines as the main gunsmith responsible for bringing the 10mm back to life. It is finished in the deluxe Black Chromex with a set of aged ivory Corian grips. The small parts are satin stainless. The grips were a set of walnut grips that I didn't care for and as the gun was mine I put a new set of the Corian grips on it a couple of years back. The gun is the very first longslide 10mm he ever built and the serial number is SPEC OPS 100. The gun is also marked prototype and a letter of provenance comes with it. The gun would normally be somewhere around $2500 to $2800 but is sale priced to move at $1895 plus shipping.
