I never pay for a hunt out of the store account so when I decide I need to buy something expensive or go on a big hunt, I sell a few of my personal guns. We have sold a couple already this week. So these are the last 2 that go on the chopping block.

Both these guns are new guns, test fired here when they were built a few years back. They have been in the safe and at a couple of custom shows since then but nothing more. Both guns are built on our own beefy stainless frames and both guns are the prototype guns of that series and both are serial number 1.

First is one of our Alaskan Grizzlys in 356 GNR. It has a 6" barrel with an oversize 6 shot cylinder. It has the Positive Performance Package and is very accurate. It is finished in the satin Vapor Honed stainless finish with the pins and screws in fire blue. It has the Bisley Gunfighter Grip with a nice set of laminated blue grips. It has the interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead blade. The gun would normally run around $2200 with me furnishing the base gun and with it being serial number 1 that normally adds another $200 to $250 to the price which would make it a $2500 gun. It is sale priced to move at $1495 plus shipping.

Next is the prototype of the Southern Pride. It is chambered in 41 GNR. It has a 6" barrel and has a beefy 6 shot cylinder. It has the interchangeable blade front sight system with the gold bead blade. It has had the Positive Performance Package and is very accurate. It is finished in satin Vapor Honed stainless finish with gold accented small parts. It has the Bisley Gunfighter Grip with a set of rosewood grips. Like the gun above it is serial number 1 and with me furnishing the custom base gun it would normally be somewhere in the $2450 to $2500 range. It is sale priced at $1495 plus shipping.

On the Grizzly - is it more than the standard Ruger Bisley? My Ruger Bisley you converted from 357 bangs the knuckle on my second finger when I shoot the 356 GNR. If the Grizzly has more relief it might solve that problem for me.

I think Gary's Gunfighter Grip has more relief?

as our Magnum gripframe. It would probably still tap your knuckle. The only ones that for sure wouldn't bite you are the Magnum or Magnum XL gripframe.

Magnum XL

I know everyone is different but for what it’s worth, I went with the Magnum XL for the Howdah .500 LB in the works. I have a Bisley and a Magnum and get along fine with both but the XL felt better in my hand (imagining heavy recoil). It gave me a lot of knuckle room and filled my hand more giving me a better purchase. I probably spent an hour at the shop handling and comparing —thanks for Gary’s patience.

Thanks, was considering the Grizzly but

Best. I my self and a few other Misfits have the take off’s to to his special collection. Gary is trying to sell his first run Proto types . Again Proto types, At a great price.
He like to have one of the Misfits, to purchase a gun . So stop saying how beautiful they look, etc . and buy one. Don’t take this personally? Pete

I’d buy Kase’s Ult. 10 but I’m recovering

from the 401 buy. I asked how long until they go to see if I could recover. Maybe, but unlikely.

and by buying one of these guns you would be helping a poor
