Have had much better luck with traditional pistol powders in the 25-20 Revolver. Magnum Pistol and Rifle Powders such as 1680 work OK, but not great due to low chamber pressures.

So, I decided to try fillers. Dacron worked OK, but really hard to start and compress in the small mouth.

Puff-Lon has been used for years. Ordered some from the factory and received it this morning.

Backed off my load to 4.5 grns of Unique and topped the cases off with the filler. ES were down in the 7 fps range and accuracy was penny size.

This made my desired quiet, soft shooting load that I've sought.

Just an idea to share. Use data at your own discretion.

That's the plastic granulation for shotshells?

We used to buffer shot with? BPI used to sell it. Some guys use cream of wheat, but NEVER let it get below the neck. FWIW.

Don't know about shotshells...

But, it's advertised for use in rifle and pistol cartridges.

You fill the case to the mouth on top of the powder, then seat the bullet to compress it and hold the powder in place.
