planning on hunting in Africa. I have the list from each of them and they know not to take a shopping list to Africa because they will see literally thousands of animals over the week they are there. But here is a list of their preferences..

and point to one of the Duikers or the Grysbok or some other tiny little critter and ask why we shot a baby. They don't realize that in some species they measure them by the 16th of an inch rather than by the inch. The animals below were all top 5 record book and a couple were #1.The Red Duiker in the last picture was my first animal taken in Africa in '92 and went #1 and stayed there for probably 10 years and he had horns just a bit over 2".

don't know the difference between "Africa" and "South Africa".

I once told a lady I was going to South Africa and she asked "What country?"

Does the eight inches of barrel include to end of the muzzle break for revolvers? Does the Leupold Delta propoint pass as a optic? Oh, I went back as far as June and found the trophy fee list but it did not have the what the buff trophy fee is.

It could run from $17,000 to $22,000.

is we are on a 7 day hunt whereas normally any of the big 5 have a 14 day minimum at a minimum of $750 a day daily rates. That is $10,500 over the normal permit price, so a Cape Buff could run to a minimum of $22,000 plus. In this new area we do not have the normal dangerous game high daily rate, so we save a minimum of $7000 just on daily rates.

quite often we will have folks come in the gun shop

I have found that most people in America

I've gotten that several times already...
