Handgun scope preference?

I’m about to put together my 455 GNR mini-beast and thought I had a scope put back. Turns out I don’t have a scope, so, what are my better choices these days .... Burris? Leupold? Bushnell? Appreciate yalls input.
Burris 4X but Leupold is a close second.

handgun scopes. You might check e-bay as they usually have some handgun scopes and somewhat reasonable prices and Burris has a good warranty is it has a problem.
No the 4X is not but I found one at

Leupold, BUrris and if they only made the old Redfield 2-6X in Colorado...good scopes....like Gary said "get the best in handgun optics"

Elite 3500 model) or Nikon. The Nikon scopes are really good scopes. Nikon has been building optics for many years and their handgun scopes show it. But any of those 4 would do for me. But look thru them before you buy. My eyes are different from yours so what I like may be fuzzy to you.
If you stumble upon a Simmons 4X32 for a deal...

It makes a fine inexpensive option with lifetime warranty. I bought one for $60 new. I find Burris a good value and have Nikon and others. I fell into a great deal on a couple 2-8X Weavers a while back, they seem nice for a bargain (about $200 is what I paid). I'd love to try one of those fancy Leupold variables but they are so high.
A good 4X is fine for that .455. I like Leupold best but the others are so close it's just up to your eyes.

every time I am tempted to buy a CHEAP scope or some other item that is cheap. He said "you cannot afford to buy something cheap" and that is the gospel according to Taffin. If you buy a cheap Simmons scope, Murphy's Law says it will crash just when you need it the most and you end up buying another scope. Kinda like buying Lee presses or reloading equipment. Stay away from that stuff like it was a drunk ex wife with a gun. Leave all the cheap crap to WB. He thrives on crap like that and gets his rocks off afro egineering them when they break. Buy a good scope or reloading gear one time and it will more than likely last you for many years.

I use the $100 scopes (no matter I paid $60, or once $25 used and sent it in, and they returned a NEW one) for destruction testing. Lifetime transferable warranty with $12 shipping and handling.
I had a Simmons 4X I shot maybe (200) full house .500 Maximums with from a 10" Reeder Encore. Of course it was over a long time span. It continued to do test duty on others too. Ditto the Leupold Double Dovetail base with blue Loc-tite screws, and 5-min-epoxy under the base (but never on the screws). Before a hunt I swap to a less abused model and sight in. I have a second Simmons 4x and another 2X I've had a long time too. I do not believe the variables will take as much damage, no matter the maker. Just too many more parts over a good fixed scope to have come loose.
For a less expensive option, not the first choice, or maybe one to abuse like I do, they are great!
I would go with a 2X Burris for my eyes and hunting.
