To have a 9mm case head on it, appropriately shortened of course. I could make them but what a pain! The .41 mag screwed the .401 Herters out of the prominence it deserved in 1962. The .41 AE got it back when the .40 S&W took off. The .40 S&W is pissed on all the time but it's is nothing more than the auto loading version of the ancient .38 WCF. Which itself was a less recoiling alternative to the .45 Colt.
