But that's all his doing. He's really smart and loves outdoor things too.
A little back story on the pistol.
I inherited a John Jovino built 41 mag "EFFECTOR" from my dad. Beautiful pistol. My brother was looking at it one day and said he would like to have one of dad's pistols. I knew right then he would pick that one and sure enough, he did.
Alex found out about it when I was telling Rebecca that I wanted another 41 to replace it.
Long story short, I located one and Rebecca took Alex over to buy it so he could give it to me on father's day. Alex used his own money to pay for it.
It needed refinishing and I sent it to Gary back at the end of December.
I got the pistol back from Gary today and gave it a good wipe down and had it out when he came home from school.
He really likes the way it looks now and commented how much better the gunfighter grip feels over the Bisley.
I have to agree with him.
